| Full year 2024 | 21,715 | Kia America vehicles sold |

Kia America reported a 6% year-over-year increase in EV6 U.S. annual sales for 2024 compared with 2023. The December counts rose from 1,249 in 2023 to 2,111 in 2024; that is a 69.0% derived increase based on Kia’s reported monthly figures, rather than a percentage separately stated by the company.
The EV6 represented about 2.73% of Kia America’s 796,488 total U.S. sales in 2024, compared with about 2.41% of 782,451 total U.S. sales in 2023. These percentages are derived, rounded comparisons of company-reported sales, while Kia’s broader U.S. EV portfolio grew 74% in 2024 and accounted for 7% of total sales.
Kia EV6 Battery, Range and Charging Data
Battery and range figures depend on market, model year, trim, drivetrain and wheels. The global heritage archive lists EV6 battery capacities from 62.9 to 77.4 kWh, while the 2025 U.S. specifications use a 63.0-kWh Standard Range battery and an 84.0-kWh battery for listed long-range trims.
| 2025 U.S. trim or group | Battery | EPA-estimated range | Maximum DC input |
|---|---|---|---|
| Light Standard Range RWD | 63.0 kWh | 237 miles | 180 kW |
| Light Long Range RWD | 84.0 kWh | 319 miles | 240 kW |
| Light Long Range AWD | 84.0 kWh | 295 miles | 240 kW |
| GT-Line AWD | 84.0 kWh | 270 miles | 240 kW |
| GT AWD | 84.0 kWh | 231 miles | 240 kW |

The 2025 Light Standard Range RWD’s 237-mile figure and the Light Long Range RWD’s 319-mile figure are EPA estimates, so actual driving range varies with conditions. Peak charging input is also not sustained across the full charge and depends on the charger and battery conditions.
Kia’s global model page lists an 18-minute 10%-to-80% charging time for the EV6. That is a manufacturer claim under specified high-power charging conditions, not an independent real-world result; the global page also describes the broader heritage specification and its cross-market ranges.

The listed long-range AWD trims have a 117-mph maximum speed rating, while the GT is rated at 161 mph. These are manufacturer specifications, and the acceleration figures are manufacturer test specifications rather than independent instrumented testing.
The performance spread is accompanied by a drivetrain distinction: listed RWD trims have 258 lb-ft of torque, listed long-range AWD trims have 446 lb-ft, and the GT has 545 lb-ft or 568 lb-ft with Launch Mode.
Kia EV6 Efficiency and Energy-Use Statistics
The 2025 U.S. EPA estimates show how efficiency changes across the smaller-battery RWD, long-range RWD and high-output GT AWD configurations. MPGe is an EPA fuel-economy measure for electric vehicles; the figures below should not be read as direct electricity-cost estimates without an electricity price and charging context.
| 2025 U.S. configuration | City MPGe | Highway MPGe | Combined MPGe |
|---|---|---|---|
| Light Standard Range RWD | 128 | 103 | 115 |
| Long-range RWD | 128 | 101 | 114 |
| GT AWD | 87 | 79 | 83 |

The Light Standard Range RWD is rated at 128 city MPGe, 103 highway MPGe and 115 combined MPGe. Listed long-range RWD trims are rated at 128 city, 101 highway and 114 combined MPGe, while the GT AWD is rated at 87 city, 79 highway and 83 combined MPGe.
These are EPA estimates for the 2025 U.S. model year. They describe standardized test results and do not establish the energy use of every EV6 configuration worldwide or the real-world consumption of an individual vehicle.
Kia EV6 Dimensions, Capacity and Weight
The 2025 U.S. EV6 has a 114.2-inch wheelbase, 184.8-inch length and 60.8-inch height across the listed trims. Width is 74.0 inches on standard trims and 74.4 inches on the GT-Line and GT.
| Measure | 2025 U.S. specification |
|---|---|
| Wheelbase | 114.2 in |
| Length | 184.8 in |

The global heritage specification gives slightly broader ranges because it covers versions and markets: length is 4,680–4,695 mm, width is 1,880–1,890 mm, and height is 1,545–1,550 mm. Those global ranges should not be substituted for the U.S. 2025 trim measurements.
Cargo measurements are reported separately from passenger volume. Non-GT trims have 24.4 cubic feet of luggage capacity with the rear seats upright, while the GT has 48.0 cubic feet with the rear seats folded.
Minimum curb weight rises with battery, drivetrain and performance equipment. The Light Standard Range RWD is listed at 4,132 pounds, long-range AWD trims at 4,630 pounds, and the GT at 4,883 pounds.

The price list shows overlapping entry points between some RWD and AWD trims, but MSRP alone does not describe total ownership cost, incentives or equipment differences. It is a model-year-specific U.S. list price rather than a global price or a transaction-price measure.
Model-year comparisons also show that the 2024 EV6 GT had a 218-mile EPA-estimated range, which Kia described as 12 miles higher than the 2023 EV6 GT. That comparison comes from Kia’s 2024 model overview and remains an EPA estimate, not a real-world range measurement.
